Skin Rejuvenation with IPL / DPL
Cutting Edge skin rejuvenation|
Skin aging is unfortunately an inevitable part of aging and is caused by a reduced production of collagen and elastin, two native skin substances that are responsible for a vital, youthful and especially a resilient skin.
The prevention of skin aging is easy and painless with IPL (800 nanometer) / DPL (1600 nanometer). By exposing the skin to the pulsating light it will appear more healthy, more fresh and younger. Especially in combination with, for instance, a supplementary creme or treatment the effect will be wonderful because IPL/DPL is able to reach the deeper skin layers. That's why IPL/DPL is an excellent method for skin improvement.
How many treatments are required?
On average a course of 6 treatments should suffice, but when the skin has aged considerably a longer course might be beneficial for optimal results. Repeating the course (about 4 times a year) is advisable. Stop by and we will inform you about the options without any commitments.
Acne treatments with IPL / DPL
An effective method aimed at skin improvement and the reduction of acne. With IPL/DPL light the bacteria (propioni bacteria) is destroyed, which is responsible for the origin of acne.
The treatment: skin analysis, cleansing, advice regarding acne, remove impurities (milia/comedones), an intense mask and skin treatment ritual.
Treat rosacea with IPL / DPL
Effective method in the treatment of rosacea. With IPL/DPL light the widened capillaries in the upper and middle layer of the skin are closed using selective light flashes.
Rosacea are chronic, widened/dilated capillaries due to the weakening of vascular walls. It resembles a network of fine, red threads located just below the skin surface. Rosocea usually occurs on the cheeks and the nose and is a completely benign condition.
There's a period of approximately two weeks in between every treatment.
Moderate exposure to sunlight on the skin is the only thing you have to keep in mind shortly after and during the course. A good sunblock can solve this issue.
On average about 5 to 8 treatments suffice for a good final result. Because there is always a possibility for new capillaries to occur we recommend to undergo a repeat / maintenance treatment every year in order to guarantee optimal results.
Treat pigmentation with IPL / DPL
Effective method for the treatment of pigmentation.
Pigmentation can be treated well with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). IPL resembles a laser. IPL however emits a visible light pulse within a range of wavelengths, while a laser is only capable of one wavelength, that is often invisible. By widening the range of wavelengths pigment can be dismantled easier with IPL compared to most lasers.
The IPL/DPL light will be absorbed by the pigments granules. These are basically damaged and cleansed by the body. This will make the pigmentation disappear.
Treatments with IPL are not, or barely painful. You will feel a sensation of warmth and the blood circulation of the skin will increase causing some redness. After the treatment you will be able to resume your daily activities immediately.
Treat spider navea with IPL / DPL
An effective method in the treatment of unsightly dilated blood vessels named: spider naevi (“spider head”).
This is a treatment that utilizes high energetic divergent (light beams expand) IPL light. This allows the dilated blood vessels, bundled like spider feet (spider naevi) to coagulate (“closed by burning”) in the upper and middle layer of the dermis (skin). This occurs through selective photothermolysis (energy deposited to the treated area in such a way the skin and surrounding tissue remains intact).
The IPL treatment head will be placed on the desired skin and treated with subsequent light flashes. At the moment of the intense light flash, that only lasts a millisecond, you will be able to sense a small tingling. Usually there will be no remarkable response, even with a sensitive skin. Sometimes the skin can become red temporarily after the treatment. This will disappear within a couple of hours.
After 2 to 3 treatments a clear result can be observed, but on average a minimum of 5 treatments will be required for the desired results. The number of treatments varies between 3 to 5 treatments with an intermediate period of 2 weeks.
